From client work to experiments
I started in freelance web development and founded Devclock in 2013. Today, it provides ongoing software development through Resolve. In 2025, I founded Utah Website Pros to focus on websites for businesses across Utah.
My work spans building software, designing websites, and maintaining them over time. This site is where I write about that work and the experiments that inform it.
Lately, those experiments have included a persistent AI workspace built from Markdown files, prompt caching, and training a neural network to recognize handwritten digits. I’m also studying AI formally alongside that hands-on work.
